Hitting the big 7-0 milestone to celebrate seven decades is huge and worthy of a party in epic proportions. Trust outerwear brand Moncler to really make a spectacle of things during Milan Fashion Week to toast such an honour.
As the rain fell down, Moncler and 18,000 of its friends filled Milan’s historic and beautiful Piazza del Duomo as a sea of dancers, ballerinas, musicians and a choir entertained all and ensured that 24th September was a day to remember for the brand celebrating such a key milestone.
What better to capture the attention? Have the cast of 1,952 artistes all wearing the crisp white limited edition Maya jackets, showcasing an item due on sale 1st October. It was quite a sight and caught attention in the right way. Social media was buzzing with visions and alternate angles of the Moncler fashion army.
Alongside the all-white version, Moncler has a pipeline of Maya 70 jacket collaborations all ready to roll out from 15th October – with names such as Valentino’s Pierpaolo Piccioli, Thom Browne and Rick Owens all lined up.
Further anniversary celebrations are expected throughout October and November, with exhibitions and NFTs all on the agenda. Pop-ups are due in New York, London and Seoul, where fans can immerse themselves in Moncler archives, virtual experiences and win NFT creations bespoke to the host city.
