Drake’s NOCTA x Nike Air Force 1

There has been rumours of a Drake-inspired Nike collaboration doing the rounds amongst those close to the trainer game. As far back as summer 2021 (that’s a long time in trainer terms) when the Canadian rapper dropped his sixth studio album, Certified Lover Boy, images of this potential collaboration poured fuel on the fires of rumour and everyone got really excited.

What happened next doesn’t match the start as thing fizzled out, until now. Bring on numerous leaks from reputable trainer oracles of knowledge and the excitement is start to gain significant momentum. Conveniently ahead of the year anniversary of Certified Lover Boy this September. Well, that would be a coincidence.

The new Air Force 1’s come in a triple threat colourway of ‘Triple White’, with tumbled leather uppers along the signature gunmental ‘AF1’ lace dubraes. The ‘Love You Forever’ embossing on the rubber midsoles also break with tradition of AF1’s where the soles would be home to the word ‘Air’. Even the shoebox has ‘Love You Forever’ branded on it.

Alongside the expected excitement is still an air of mystery as there has been no official word on when these trainers will be released. All we know is that ‘Certified Lover Boy’ celebrates its one year anniversary on 3rd September. As we mentioned, this could all be convenient coincidence.
