The lockdown situation in the UK right now may have many the discerning gent wondering when they’ll next see a sunny beach. It also has many men wonder if and when they’ll need to wear an aftershave or fragrance if they aren’t out and about as they usually would. To help things a little, a new summery fragrance will kill to birds with one stone – tempt you into wearing a scent around the home and whisk you away to sunnier (and happier) times.
Laguna Beach from Stüssy and Comme Des Garçons is that scent. The new eau de toilette fragrance is the first from the collaborating duo, and judging by the buzz of this new launch, it’s unlikely to be their last. This scent is a blend of marine notes such as sea moss with the woody atlas cedar and the bouquet of white solar flowers. The end result is a fresh and vibrant fragrance with orange blossom and jasmine.
Packaged in a clear 50ml glass bottle with black branding running top to bottom in a clear nod to the California city where Stüssy was founded in 1980, the perfume is said to capture the “mood, essence, and lifestyle of Laguna Beach”, hence the name.
Stüssy and COMME des GARÇONS’ “Laguna Beach” fragrance will be available at select Stüssy stores worldwide, select Dover Street Market locations, and COMME des GARÇONS shops, as well as online from both outlets from 5th February.
