It’s a big week ahead for Britain – not only does London Fashion Week commence today but hot on those heels to follow up is the BRIT Awards. As the worlds of fashion and music blend together in celebration of all things British, it’s easy to see how these two elements go hand-in-hand. So, what better way to mark the occasion than with a new timepiece then, as Raymond Weil have done with its latest offering – the Punk-themed toccata model.
To mark the 40th anniversary of punk music, Raymond Weil unveil this 42mm stainless steel timepiece with a dial splashed in the distressed colours of the Union Jack flag. Much like punk music itself, this watch wasn’t designed to be hidden away. A first for the Swiss watchmaker, this model features its first nato strap in red, white and blue. Another nice touch is the latest BRITs logo, designed by Pam Hogg, embossed on the case back.
Do note the exclusivity of this timepiece, limited to just 70 pieces. So if the discerning gent really wants one, swift action is needed. Failing that, you’ll need to be a BRIT nominee to bag one of these as it’ll be given to artists on the night.
RRP £730, available from The Watch Shop
