The festive season often signals greater demand for champagne as the desire for the golden bubbles fuels the buoyant mood during this time. So what if there was a timepiece collection named after the most luxurious of carbonated tipples? Swiss timepiece maker Blancpain had this exact thought in mind with the launch of its Champagne Collection for 2016.
The maker adds a range of three new timepieces that fit within its existing Villeret collection. The trio feature understated design that give off an air of refinement. Signature design elements of the three have been incorporated into the white gold models – and as the name implies, all share a sunburst Champagne coloured dial.
Other features include the ultra slim profile – just 40mm in diameter with applied Roman numerals. There is also a clear sapphire caseback to provide a view of the internal finishing of the individual movements and oscillating weights within. The final touch is the black alligator leather strap that is a constant for each of the three timepieces.
