Nike SB Air Max Ishod

As the Uk draws closer to Wimbledon and summer’s tennis season Nike have a timely release of a new pair of trainers aptly designed to look every bit the tennis season attire. Official images have risen of the Nike SB Air Max Ishod “Tennis Ball” highlighting a bold reinterpretation of Ishod Wair’s skate‑ready silhouette with a vibrant neon palette. The upper is crafted from mesh and suede panels drenched in a fluorescent yellow‑green tone strongly reminiscent of a tennis ball, contrasted by black detailing along the tongue, laces, and inner lining.

A tonal Nike Swoosh blends seamlessly into the sidewalls, while reflective accents add depth to the design. The sculpted midsole incorporates visible Air cushioning, paired with a durable gum outsole that reinforces the shoe’s functionality to keep its wearer stable no matter the stresses and pressures of your sport.

This electric neon finish is balanced by stark black contrasts cutting across the side-panel Swoosh, interior collar lining and structural overlays. Elevating its collectible appeal, the pair is accessorized with a unique, co-branded mini tennis ball hangtag keychain that reinforces the playful courtside narrative.

Whilst not designed for racquet sports per-se, in fact the construction is more in tune with skateboarding vs tennis, the tennis-ball themed colourway cannot be denied. The Wimbledon All England tennis club would certainly not approve of the deviation from traditional all-whites to this eye-catching number, who says trainers need to be worn for specific sports anyway? The Nike SB Air Max Ishod will be available from 29th May onwards, RRP £95 (or $125).
