London Collections: Men – Autumn/Winter 2016

Now the definitive calendar fixture on the men’s sartorial circuit, London Collections: Men returns to the capital early in January for the Autumn/Winter 2016 showcase. The major news this term is that Tom Ford will be putting on his first-ever men’s show. In a move away from the slick, by appointment-only presentations at his London head office, the American designer will be unleashing his models on a catwalk for Autumn/Winter 2016. It’s a global first for Ford and his men’s line so London is privileged to host. In a typically Ford-esque move, his show is placed as the final showcase of the four day menswear extravaganza and a fitting climax to the London season.

There is of course a host of additional shake-ups to the January schedule too. The big usual suspects like Burberry, Alexander McQueen, Paul Smith and Richard James are all back for more. There are also returns for DiscerningGent.com favourites Mr Porter, E.Tautz, Casely-Hayford, JW Anderson and Hardy Amies to name just a few.

A further change to note is that there’s a new venue to enjoy this year – 180 The Strand (the former Deloitte HQ) – huge and no doubt full of elements to explore whilst the sartorial party is in full flow.
