Everyone pretty much knows that David Beckham knows how to dress. From formal suited and booted situations to the more toned-down gear to hit the gym, the man knows what to wear. So when the former footballer releases a new collection for H&M aimed at the sportswear basics he thinks today’s man should be wearing – people take note.
Beckham’s new collection, based on the athleisure trend similar to David Gandy’s latest range for M&S, plays on leisurewear. What you should be wearing when hitting the gym, chilling at home or simply wanting to feel comfortable – all whilst not blowing the budget.
Launching online and H&M stores, Beckham’s latest line is sweatshirts, t-shirts, vest tops and shorts that are cut with the modern man’s frame in mind. Think t-shirts that are looser, sweatshirts with elongated torsos and side zip, joggers with a fitted style and shorts with length in mind.
Of the range, Beckham commented: “Everything about my Bodywear for H&M has to be authentic. If I wouldn’t wear it then it doesn’t go in the collection!
“I’m always trying to evolve the Bodywear collection, and include classic pieces like sweaters and track pants that I would wear out or at home.”
Prices vary, available from 4th February in store or at HM.com
