London Fashion Week Men’s Spring/Summer 2020 Preview

Now in its 14th season, London Fashion Week Men’s (LFWM) returns to the capital this weekend to showcase Spring/Summer 2020 collections. Kicking off on Saturday 8th June, the Truman Brewery will again be the hub for the summery sartorial on show, having hosted earlier in the year at the same venue.

If January 2019 was busy, this weekend is set to be hectic as things feel bigger – a fully packed schedule, tons of designers and too many new lines to count. A-Cold-Wall* fronted by the creative eye of designer Samuel Ross is back for what is anticipated to be another knockout show. Stalwarts such as Oliver Spencer, E Tautz and Alexander McQueen will bring the hype as usual.

There is a smattering of newbies at the weekend too. University of Westminster MA Menswear will be flying the flag for academia – and the next generation of designer talent. Whilst emerging designers to look out for including the returning Ahluwalia Studio and Saul Nash on East London home turf.

Whilst the shows and collections will wow the attending crowds, it’s great to see men’s fashion in such rude health. There have been notable labels ditching LFWM over the last few seasons, but the line-up still looks to have the muscle it did from previous years in the eyes of DiscerningGent.com.

See below for the full schedule running from 8th-10th June whilst further details of the shows can be found at the British Fashion Council.
